Songwriter & Vocalist on the Grammy Award winning “Just Chillin” by Norman Brown, Edwin Lugo aka Lugo is an Undefeated vocalist on Showtime at the Apollo and co-star on Broadway with Marc Anthony and Ruben  Blades in “Paul Simon’s The Capeman".  Lugo performed with Christina Aguilera at Radio City Music Hall at the Jazz Café in London, at the Nuyorican Poets Café and at SOB’s in New York.  Lugo is an Armed Forces Entertainment / USO Artist playing Latin Soul music for United States Service men and women all over the world including Afghanistan. Songwriter for artists Fania Legend Yomo Toro, Freestyle's Judy Torres, Jazz legend Ronny Jordan, R&B's Traci Spencer, for Jay-Z’s film “State Property”, MTV’s “Made” and the BBC’s “Ben’s Zoo”.  Lugo is also a film and stage actor appearing in “The Children of times Square” with Howard Rollins, HBO’s "TREME", Robert Deniro’s “The 2-2” and at Robert Redford’s Sundance Theatre with Glen Close and Tyne Daily. He studied at Performing Arts High School, at Rossetta Lenoire's AMAS Repertory Theatre and at University of Texas at Austin.  Nuyorican born and Bronx bred Lugo is The Nephew of American Baseball Hero and Puerto Rican Icon Roberto Clemente Walker.
